The ever popular SwampFest is a two-day fall event and a unique opportunity to celebrate the nature, the people, and the rich heritage of Lower Richland County.  Part I – BBQ, Blues & Jazz, occurs on Friday evenings at the historic Harriet Barber House, 116 Barberville Loop, at Lower Richland Boulevard off Garners Ferry Road, Hopkins, SC.  Ticket price for this fundraiser includes admission, entertainment and food. A cash bar is offered for beer, wine and soda; we strongly encourage guests to drink responsibly. All proceeds benefit SERCO’s educational component.                  

Part II –SwampFest at the Congaree is held in two locations: Congaree National Park and the adjoining historic yard of the Old Mt. Moriah Church.  Record crowds of all ages from across the country, state and local areas gather for a day of FREE fun! Shuttles take guests from free parking to the Park for tours and nature activities, and to the actions in the “Yard”  -to enjoy FREE  entertainment on stage (singers, dancers, bands, and other performers), hay/carnival rides, and prizes. Food and product vendors are also on site; a special offering is SERCO’s famous Swamp Juice!
