There is something magical during Taste & Tour time! The Annual Holiday Taste & Tour-Lower Richland Heritage Corridor occurs annually on the first Saturday in December. The event includes a Virtual Museum of Lower Richland Historic Sites, BBQ & Desserts Bake-Off with Free Food Samplings, Stage Entertainment, Farmers/Flea Market, BINGO Tent, and Vendors: Oyster Roast, Food, Crafts and Gifts.
SERCO invites all to spend “An Old Fashion Christmas” in the Historic Village of Hopkins, which once was bustling with general stores, gin mills, industries, residences and a Town Hall, and was originally named “Hopkins Turnout” between 1836 and 1842, when the South Carolina Railroad from Charleston completed a turntable there.
